Private leadership coaching for accomplished founders, CEOs and senior leaders navigating bigger decisions, difficult people, team problems, changing roles, visibility, delegation, workplace politics, and the pressure that can make all of them harder than they need to be.
Start with the Diagnostic →None of that means you do not know how to lead. It means pressure is changing what you have access to in the moment.
You may know exactly what the business needs and still find yourself thinking about how everyone is going to react.
“Lisa helped me prepare for a conversation I was dreading. I went into it calm instead of anxious, and it went so much better than I had anticipated.”
“If you're a business owner in a big transition and you're tired of going in circles in your own head, talk to Lisa.”
“Lisa is INCREDIBLE!!! She helped me get my business to the next level in a very short period of time. I am so grateful that I found her and would highly recommend her services.”
This is how capable leaders end up carrying more and thinking less clearly under pressure.
The more responsibility you carry, the fewer truly neutral places you have to work things through.
Your team has a stake in the outcome. Your partners have opinions. Your family may care deeply, but they are not inside the business with you. And sometimes the people you would normally talk to are part of the situation you are trying to navigate.
And when relationships, loyalties, personalities and power are involved, a straightforward business decision can become anything but straightforward.
So a lot of it stays in your head.
And even when you do ask for input, the advice you get can be shaped by someone else’s role, priorities, experience, or attachment to the outcome.
That is where an outside perspective becomes valuable.
You have somewhere to say what you are actually thinking, question your assumptions, and sort through the noise with someone who understands human behaviour and leadership dynamics, but who is not personally invested in the decision you make.
The visible behaviour is usually only part of what is driving it.
A lot of leadership advice is built around an idea of what a strong leader is supposed to look like: more commanding, more detached, less affected.
But many of the leaders I work with are highly perceptive, deeply responsible, purpose-driven, and genuinely care about the impact they have on people.
Those qualities are not the problem.
The problem is what can happen when responsibility, sensitivity, and pressure start getting tangled together. You carry too much, think too far ahead, manage everyone’s reactions, or start trying to become a version of a leader that does not actually fit you.
This work is not about sanding those qualities down. It is about helping you lead from them without being run by them.
The work is not about giving you more leadership advice. It is about changing what happens when pressure starts interfering with how you think, decide, and show up.
Pressure affects people differently. You may become more reactive, controlling, hesitant, accommodating, withdrawn, overfocused, or simply less clear than you normally are. We first work with that reaction so you can get access to your judgment again.
Once there is enough space to think clearly, we look at the belief, identity, or old rule underneath the pattern and work with it in real life through actual decisions and behaviour.
This is where the internal work becomes visible in how you communicate, prepare, hold your position, make decisions, and carry yourself when the pressure is actually on.
She knew it needed to happen, but because of the relationships involved, she kept imagining how badly it could go. She was carrying the situation around constantly, and trust with her team was beginning to suffer.
She was already very good at what she did. The problem was not a lack of strategy. It was what happened internally every time being more visible meant exposing herself to more judgment.
A leader might come in convinced the issue is delegation, confidence, visibility, a difficult employee, or one decision they cannot make.
Sometimes it is. Other times, that is simply where the deeper issue is showing itself.
One of the most valuable parts of this work is having someone outside the situation who can listen to what is happening, notice what does not quite add up, challenge the assumption underneath it, and help you see the problem more accurately.
I have spent more than 20 years working in human development and more than 12 years coaching founders, executives, and high performers.
Bring the decision you keep circling, the conversation you are avoiding, the difficult employee or team issue that keeps following you home, the confidence shift you cannot seem to shake, the visibility problem you keep pushing off, or something else that is taking up more space than it should.
The point is not to spend 60 minutes talking around what is happening. We get underneath the surface issue, identify what is actually driving it, and determine where the work is most likely to create movement.
Instead of going in circles or throwing more effort at the wrong problem, we focus on the part that is actually driving the pressure, hesitation, or pattern.
You can spend a lot of time working hard on the wrong problem.
Private coaching engagements typically run three to six months and include up to three private sessions each month, along with between-session support Monday through Thursday during business hours.
We work with current decisions, conversations, team dynamics, visibility, pressure, leadership transitions, and the patterns that show up around them.
What makes sense for you depends on what you are dealing with and what we uncover in the Diagnostic.
Because knowing what to do and actually doing it under pressure are two different things.
Most of my clients are not lacking insight. They usually already know the conversation needs to happen, the decision needs to be made, or they need to stop stepping back into work they already delegated.
The real question is: what keeps getting in the way when it is time to do it?
That is where we work.
Sometimes you do.
But if you have already had good advice and you are still circling the same decision, avoiding the same conversation, or repeating the same pattern, another strategy may not be the thing that changes it.
You can spend a lot of time working hard on the wrong level of the problem.
Part of my job is helping us get to what is actually driving it so we can work there instead.
Because most free discovery calls are really sales calls in disguise.
I do not want you to spend an hour explaining your situation so I can spend the last ten minutes pitching coaching.
The Executive Edge Diagnostic is a real working session.
We use that time to get clear on what is actually going on, what may be underneath it, and where the work is most likely to make a real difference.
You should leave with clarity and something useful whether or not we continue working together.
Most private coaching engagements run three to six months, depending on what you are working through.
Some leaders come in with a specific decision, relationship, people issue, or leadership challenge that can be addressed in a focused three-month engagement.
Others stay longer when the work involves broader team dynamics, recurring patterns, or a larger leadership transition.
We will talk about what makes sense after the Diagnostic.
Sometimes faster than people expect.
One conversation, one decision, or one clear insight into what has really been driving the issue can create a meaningful shift quickly.
And some changes take repetition.
You still have to practice doing it differently when the pressure is actually there.
So yes, I care about getting to the heart of the issue quickly. But I also care about helping you create change that holds.
Yes.
A lot of my clients are ambitious, highly capable people who are also empathic, an HSP, neurodivergent, or some combination of those things.
Those qualities are not something I am trying to coach out of you. They are often part of what makes you perceptive, thoughtful, and powerful.
The issue is when you start feeling responsible for everything, everyone, and every possible outcome. That is where it gets heavy.
And if you do not identify with any of those labels, that is fine too.
The work is not built around one personality type. It is built around understanding what pressure does to you, and changing the patterns that interfere with how you lead best.
A big part of the goal is actually to reduce how much time and energy you are spending on things that either should not be done at all, or should not be taking this much out of you.
You are already doing the work.
We are making it cleaner, faster, and less exhausting.
